Border Defence Museum

The museum shows the situation in the area during II World War and is located at an annexe within the Abisko tourist station which today holds the Railway Navvy Museum. Within 10 kilometers from the museum there are a number of relatively wellpreserved redoubts from 1940-42 - redoubt 555 Nuolja that includes a railway blockade, an observation dome, Abiskojokka, the Marble quarry in Abisko and redoubt 557 Abiskojaure with machinegun stands etc.
