Gotland Military Museum

The museum’s collection is housed in the historically interesting Supply Depot area, which was part of the Tingstäde Fortress complex. The Fortress consists of four large redoubts linked by defence walls.

The museum present an overview of the history of the defence of Gotland over the centuries. It includes details of the infantry, armour, artillery, air defence and air forces which have defended the "grounded carrier" in the middle of the baltic sea. The museum works together with Redoubt No: 1 in the fortress, which is open to the public, and also with the Coastal Artillery Museum in Fårösund.
The museum retains a number of working vehicles for display purposes.
