Gotland Military Museum

The museum’s collection, which was earlier located within the Gotland Regiment barracks, is now housed in the historically interesting Supply Depot area, which formed part of the Tingstäde Fortress complex. The Fortress consists of four large redoubts linked by defence walls.

The museum will present an overview of the history of the defence of Gotland over the centuries. It will include details of the infantry, armour, artillery, air defence and air forces which have defended the "grounded carrier" in the middle of the balfic. The museum works together with Redoubt No: 1 in the fortress, which is open to the public, and also with the Coastal Artillery Museum in Fårösund.
The museum retains a number of working vehicles for display purposes.
