  Karlsborg Fortress Museum

  KarlsborgThe Karlsborg fortress was built in accordance with a defence plan from 1819, which determined that a central defence was to be created in the central part of Sweden. The fortress was principally for storage, but it could also serve as a secondary capital for the country.

  BrattforshedenIn June 1939 the Swedish parliament granted funds for the creation of 20 military airfields, one of which was Number 16, located at Brattforsheden.
